	New Road Cycling Map Available

	After riding in this region for over 25 years, I've learned there are many quiet country roads that you can enjoy on skinny tires. So with the help of local cyclists, cartographers and grant-making institutions, the Athens Bicycle Club is proud to present the definitive road cycling map of Southeastern Ohio. The Southeastern Ohio Bicycle Map tells you which roads have the least traffic, which roads have the best surfaces, and the best ways in and out of the many big and small towns in our region. Click Here to Sign Up for E-mail Updates Upcoming Events & Activities Bike Polo Thursday Evenings, West State Street Ballfields The Athens County Bike Polo Association is hosting bike polo every Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Meet at the big tree between the ballfields and the community gardens. May 25-26: The 37th Annual Tour of the Hocking River Valley This wonderful two-day tour is organized by the Athens Bicycle Club. Ride approximately 65 miles the first day from Athens to Reedsville, Ohio. Camp along the Ohio River at Forked Run State Park, then ride approximately 50 miles back to Athens. More information will be available later this spring on the ABC Web site. June 7-8: The 26th Annual Marietta River Rendezvous Presented by the Marietta Rowing & Cycling Club in Marietta, Ohio, this event features two 65-mile road rides, a cruise on a sternwheeler, ice cream, a pasta dinner and more!
